Ezra watched from the rooftops of the city as an innocent boy was being grabbed by two card and dragged away as if he were some criminal.  She had always been disgusted with the treatment of the poor here.  If you didn't have money or social standing you were considered trash to the damn guards.   One promise she had made to herself when she'd join the order not too long ago was to be a defender to the people that were much like her.
With her goal in mind, Ezra tailed the guards, watching with sympathy as the boy kicked and screamed, begging for help from anyone that would hear him.
"Don't worry, there's at least one person here that will be willing to help you," she comforted the boy from afar.
The Guards stopped in a secured area where a few cages were located.  Nothing more disgusting than being put on display to be made an example of.
Ezra looked over the perimeter calculating her plan.   Currently, she was only armed with the recluta hidden blade so her options as to how to be rid of the bastard guards were limited.  One flanked either side of the area whilst one stood by the cage, pacing back and forth as if here were bored out of his mind. She smirked when she thought of the perfect plan that would rid the Guard of his boredom permanently.

Moving with the speed she was trained to possess, Ezra moved on the rooftops till she was right above the Guard standing next to the cage.   She exhaled and inhaled a few times to prepare herself.  One thing that Ezra hadn't gotten quite used to was jumping off roofs, but her fear of heights would not put a crutch on this mission.

"One…two…three," she counted to herself before leaping into the air and extending her blade.  Her mind grew clear as she only thought of her target; Guard number one's heart.

There was a settle thump and the slick sound of the blade piercing through the vulnerable flesh.  A soft grunt was the last noise that this guard would ever make.

"Requienscat en Pace," she murmured softly to her enemy, giving him his bit of respect before standing.  She had no time to dawdle, there were still two more Guards to kill.

Grinding her teeth, Ezra quietly went for the other two Guards.  Another thing that she had to get used to in regards to being an Assassin was close combat skills.  Her fighting techniques weren't the best when compared with the other recluta, she had a lot of hand to hand training in her near future.  What she wouldn't give to have some knives and a crossbow about now…

Clearing her mind, Ezra swiftly stabbed the second guard in the back of the head. The sound of his skull giving way to her blade was one she relished as the man fell to the floor.

"Who has done this," A voice cried out making Ezra cursed.  Quickly, she turned around and saw that the other guard had left his post.

"Crap," Ezra exclaimed as the guard eyed her.   She had to get to him quickly before he sounded for reinforcements.

The determination must have shown through in her gaze cause the Guard started to run.   But his energy was to be wasted.

Ezra smirked and quickly gave chase, one thing she did have was speed.  She excelled at running, it was something she'd done all her life.  It was how she survived poverty on the streets.  Quickly, she scaled a wall and leapt for the guard stabbing him in the back.

With a soft sigh, she said another small prayer before looting the Guard, gaining the key to the cell.

With praise and rapture, all of the capture men and women ran out of the cage, glad to have their freedom again.

"Wait," she called out to the boy, who then stopped to look back at her frightened.

"Don't be afraid," she told him sweetly, kneeling down and pulling a small bag of coins from her pouch, "Here.  Take this to your family and get them the food that you need.  I saw you in the market.  You've got a long way to go my friend, but I'm betting someday soon, if you keep practicing you could join the Assassin brotherhood."

The boy's eyes gleamed with admiration as he took the sack.

"G-Grazie mi amica," he replied and inclined his head before quickly putting the money away and running home.

Ezra stood and chuckled, "Another job well done recluta.  One job down, god knows how many more to go."
